The NAACP Norwich Branch invites the community to its 63rd Annual Freedom Fund Dinner on Thursday, October 29, 2026, in the Premier Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket. Social hour begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 7:00 p.m.
This year’s theme, “Untold Stories: America’s 250th • Norwich, Connecticut,” commemorates America’s 250th anniversary by recognizing the people, experiences, and contributions too often left out of our nation’s history. Black history and American history are not separate stories. They are intertwined, and our understanding of America is incomplete when any of those stories remain untold.
