Freedom Fund Dinner

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Norwich Branch is celebrating fifty-nine years of advocating for equality, justice and civil rights for all people.  These past two years have been very difficult for everyone and we want to express our sincere thanks to you for your continued support and commitment to the Norwich Branch so that we may continue to address the disparities in civic engagement, education, health, housing, employment opportunities and the criminal justice system. 

 We cordially invite you to join us at this year’s 59th Freedom Fund Dinner on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Grand Pequot Ballroom, 350 Trolley Line Boulevard, Mashantucket, Connecticut. Our theme is “This is Power” – Our collective voice is power. Our community is power.  Together we are Powerful!  Our keynote speaker is Mr. Rodney Butler, Chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.  Social hour commences at 6:30 pm.

 We are also soliciting ads for our souvenir anniversary booklet (8 ½ by 11).  Please see enclosure.  The dinner banquet ticket is $125 for adults and $75 (youth under 18) or we can reserve a table for your company/organization for the following:
